Best Things To Do This Halloween in Palm Springs

It’s time for Halloween fun in the Coachella Valley! Here’s our list of the best events to attend. As always in no particular order.

1. Howl-o-Ween, The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, Palm Desert, Indian Wells

This annual fun event is a must for the whole family. This year marks the 22nd annual and the dates are, Sunday, October 30th 10am-2pm and Monday, October 31st 6pm-8:30pm. Visitors are encouraged to dress up and enjoy all the exciting activities.

2. Halloween Carnavale Palm Springs, Arenas Road

This promises to be one of the best Halloween events in the Desert! Live music with Los Angeles recording artist, Kristine W., a VIP Zone and a costume contest! The event takes place Saturday, October 29th from 6pm-10pm.

3. BB’s 32nd Annual Halloweekend Bash, Palm Springs

BB Ingle is legendary for staging huge parties in the Palm Springs area for the last several decades. The Halloweekend Bash is one of the biggest with thousands attending every year. DJ’s, live music contests and more. It takes place at The Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs on Friday, October 28th and Saturday October 29th.

4. Halloween Carnival & Pumpkin Patch, Palm Desert

It’s the 2nd annual Halloween Carnival & Pumpkin Patch at The Westfield Palm Desert Mall parking lot. Families can enjoy rides, a pumpkin patch, hay maze, a haunted house and games. The fun takes place October 20th-23rd. Hours are Thursday and Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-10pm.

5. The 52nd Annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade, Palm Desert

One of the Coachella Valley’s premier events takes place on Sunday October 30th. Tens of thousands attend every year starting early with a pancake breakfast and then the big parade that will start one hour earlier this year at noon. The theme is “Golf Carts, Ghosts & Glitter!”
