5 Christmas Albums to buy This Holiday Season

Tis the season! There are hundreds, probably thousands of Christmas albums available. It is hard to pick just 5, but we are going to suggest 5 for your collection.

1. “Wonderland,” Sarah McLachlan

Here’s a brand new one for Chistmas 2016! Sarah McLachlan has an amazing voice and proves it once again on her new holiday collection. The collection includes 13 holiday favorites plus some lesser known songs to like , “Snow,” by Randy Newman.

2. Michael Buble, “Christmas”

Produced by David Foster and others, this is a great Christmas collection of holiday favorites from just a few years back. One of the favorite tracks, “Santa Clause is Coming to Town,” is sure to put you in the mood of the season. Shania Twain is also featured on a duet.

3. Mariah Carey, “Merry Christmas”

This was Mariah’s 4th studio album and was released November 1st, 1994. It is a favorite every Christmas season packed with great holiday favorites done in Mariah’s style. “All I Want for Christmas is You went on to become one of the best selling singles of all time!

4. Kenny G. “Miracles: The Holiday Album”

This was Kenny’s first Christmas album and was also released in 1994. It is extremely popular to this day and according to Billboard magazine is the best-selling Christmas/Holiday album of the Nielsen SoundScan era of music sales tracking 1991-present.

5. Vince Guaraldi Trio, “A Charlie Brown Christmas”

This classic was 1st released in 1965 and is the soundtrack to the hugely popular CBS Christmas television special of the same name. It has all your favorites from the television special and has been reissued and slightly modified over the years. As of November 2014 it is the 10th best selling Christmas/Holiday album in the United States during the SoundScan era of music.
