1. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Palm Springs

Go to the mountaintop! This spectacular attraction always makes our list. Bring your camera as you make your way to the top. You’ll enjoy fabulous views and if you like you may dine at the top too!

2. The Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs

Considered one of the best air museums in the country, this is a must stop for all aviation lovers! Aircraft from different eras, docents that enjoy talking about them and a great gift shop are all awaiting you on your visit!

3. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Palm Desert, Indian Wells

Another valley treasure, put The Living Desert on your list! The whole family will enjoy the visit and see all the animals that live there! GThey also offer special events most of the year. You might even have the chance to feed a giraffe.

4. Enjoy Modern Architecture, Palm Springs

Modernism week is now a huge annual event, but you don’t have to wait til February to enjoy the sights. Just take a ride through the neighborhoods that offer this wonderful architecture at it’s finest. You might even want to do this on a cruiser bike!

5. Indian Canyons, Palm Springs

Explore this breathtaking area of Palm Springs that you maybe didn’t even know was here! If you love hiking, you will feel as if you are in paradise! Don’t forget plenty of water, sunscreen, and your camera.

6. The Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Springs and Palm Desert

This valley Icon offers so many wonderful exhibits year round, it’s a must to do on your list! There are free days available and also in the Palm Springs location a really great gift shop!

7. Take a Drive up Highway 74, Palm Desert

Always a scenic adventure for the traveler, this year is extra special! Due to all the rain this year, the mountains are green! Beautiful flowers and greenery are gorgeous this year!

8. Coachella and Stage Coach, Indio, Coachella

The big concerts that have made Indio one of the great destinations for music lovers are almost here! Coachella happens for 2 back-to-back weekends in April and Stagecoach follows next.

9. Coachella Valley Preserve, Thousand Palms

This delightful haven is another jewel of the Coachella Valley! Enjoy all the preserve has to offer including hiking and picnicking with no user fees. The Coachella Valley Preserve is the, “The Old West,” just minutes from most valley cities.

10. Villagefest, Palm Springs

This weekly event is am must for visitors and locals too. It happens every Thursday evening on Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Amado downtown. Discover arts, crafts, food vendors, live music and great people watching. Admission is free!
