Don’t Miss These May Events in the Coachella Valley

The social season in the Coachella Valley is almost over. May still has plenty to do and these are our Top Ten picks!

1. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, Indio

Theses concerts are scheduled for the month of May. On May 19th Ann Wilson is in concert and May 26th it’s Larry Hernandez. Showtimes at 8pm. Their Rock Yard shows also continue in May.

2. Spotlight 29 Casino, Coachella

More great shows roll into town in May. Joe Walsh hits the stage on May 19th and the comedy of Monique comes to town May 2oth.  Showtime for both is 8pm.

3. Agua Caliente Casino, The Show, Rancho Mirage

Gabriel Iglesias is in town May 5th. Dustin Lynch hits the stage on May 12th and Rebel Rebel, the many lives of David Bowie on May 13thShow times at 8pm except Dustin Lynch at 9pm.

4. White Party Palm Springs, Palm Springs

The largest gay dance party in the World is in Palm Springs May 5th weekend. DJ’s, live performances, pool parties and many other events go on all weekend long.

5. Evening Under the Stars, Palm Springs

This annual event is one of the desert’s most enjoyable and beloved fundraising events. It’s the 24th annual for the Palm Springs AIDS Assistance Program. This year’s entertainment is Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.

6. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Palm Desert and Indian Wells

There are many events all season long and the event on May 6th is all about the Trains. The Living Desert welcomes all aboard from 9am-12noon. There will be fun for the whole family at one of the Nations premier Train displays!

7. Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival, Palm Springs

This festivals following grows bigger every year! It takes place May 11th-14th. This unique festival feature a mixture of landmark and obscure vintage films at the Camelot Theatres on Baristo Road.

8. National Public Gardens Day, The Living Desert, Palm Desert and Indian Wells

This event takes place on May 12th and is an annual celebration of the awareness of our important role in promoting environment and conservation. The event starts at 9am.

9. Villagefest, Palm Springs

This weekly favorite happens every Thursday year round. You’ll find live music, artisans, and artists! Food is available including fresh fruits and vegetables. The event is family and dog-friendly and is along Palm Canyon Drive. Times are 6-10pm.

10. The Palm Springs Air Museum, Palm Springs

The annual Memorial Day Flower Drop and Air Fair is one of the biggest events of the year at the museum. Considered one of the top museums of it’s kind in the United States, this emotional event is May 29th.
