In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we have our list of favorite places to celebrate!

1. Pueblo Viejo Grill, Indio and Palm Desert

You’ll love the food and you’ll love the people at either location! Their website says the best authentic Mexican food in the Coachella Valley so stop by and celebrate! Cinco de Mayo specials and fun will be going on all day Friday.

2. Las Casuelas Terraza, Palm Springs

There will plenty of Cinco de Mayo fun at Las Casuelas Terraza. Generations have enjoyed their Mexican fare and live music too. Their nachos are huge and they are also know for their Margaritas!

3. El Mirasol at Los Arboles, Palm Springs

The reviews are always great with diners praising their courteous staff and great food! You might want to try their great salsa and guacamole. The portions are very large. Great Margaritas and beautiful outdoor dining available.

4. Blue Coyote Grill, Palm Springs

This Mexican and Tex-Mex grill is always very busy because it’s that good! The menu is packed with great choices including their outstanding Vegetarian quesadilla. Enjoy a Wild Coyote Margarita or a wide choice of ice-cold Beers.

5. Don Diego’s of Indian Wells, Indian Wells

There will be plenty of diners celebrating Cinco de Mayo for their great food and drinks at Don Diego’s. Many also go for the great dining atmosphere and ample seating on the patio! Many say they also love that there is plenty of parking.

6. Armando’s Dakota Bar & Grill, El Paseo, Palm Desert

Armando’s always has a party going on! They are packed all year long and Cinco de Mayo will be no exception! The food is great and they are well known for their exceptional Margaritas.

7. Soul of Mexico, Indio

Their name pretty much says it all! Many say the service, ambiance and food are all great. When you go be sure to try their “trash burrito” or their chicken quesadilla. A wide choice of beverages are also available.

8. Rio Azul Mexican Bar & Grill, Palm Springs

Diners always love the atmosphere and food and even live music. The enchiladas are a favorite and so is the tortilla soup. You might also want to try their carnitas tacos.

9. Guacamoles, Palm Springs

Diners love their food, but they also love the owner and the staff. Their menu is packed with great choices. You might want to try the vegetarian burrito that has pintos not refried beans. They also offer the carne asada burrito, which is a favorite of many.

10. The Original Las Casuelas, Palm Springs

A great Mexican restaurant that has been in Palm Springs for a long time, Las Casuelas has great food and a packed house almost all the time! All your Mexican favorites are here and many visitors make sure to stop while in the Valley. You might want to try their fish tacos with black beans.
