Mother’s Day is just days away and you want to be sure to remember your Mother on her day with something special. Here are some places you might find that special gift! As always in no particular order.

1. Backstreet Art District, Palm Springs

2. Downtown Palm Springs

Palm Springs is booming with so much to see and do including shopping! From local shops to major retailors, you’ll find it in Palm Springs. Take a stroll and enjoy all the possibilities!

3. Uptown Design District, Palm Springs

Retro. cool, charming are all was to describe this area of Palm Springs. There are so many great gift ideas in this area and all you have to do is take a look! If you’re a fan of Modernism, you won’t want to miss this shopping district.

4. The River, Rancho Mirage

Shopping at the River is a one of a kind experience in the desert. If you have never been to the River, there really is water to go along with premier shopping and dining. You can catch a movie at The River too.

5. Old Town La Quinta, La Quinta

You will enjoy the experience of Old Town La Quinta! Dozens of boutiques and restaurants in the heart of downtown that are local! This is a pefect place to find unique gifts. Grab a bite to eat while you’re there too.

6. The Shops on El Paseo, Palm Desert

The Shops on El Paseo is an upscale retail shopping area in Palm Desert. A street inspired by the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, you’re to find all the names that are associated with elegant shopping.

7. Westfield Palm Desert, Palm Desert

If you enjoy shopping at all your favorite retailers in air-conditioned comfort, this is your place. Your favorites are here and also many restaurants to choose from if you get hungry for lunch or dinner.

8. Desert Hills Premium Outlet, Cabazon

If you enjoy shopping hundreds of designers at a fraction of the price, Desert Hills Premium Outlet is well worth the trip. Just outside of Palm Springs, wear your comfortable shoes and shop the day away with endless choices.

9. COD Street Fair, Palm Desert

A long standing weekend tradition, the COD Street Fair offers plenty of fun outdoor shopping for everything from art items to furniture. You’ll also find food available and often live music while you shop.

10. Villagefest, Palm Springs

Another fun weekly event, this one takes place in downtown Palm Springs. Year round every Thursday evening bring the family and your dog if you like and shop while you stroll Palm Springs! Hours are 6pm-10pm and food is available.
