Don’t Miss These June Events in the Coachella Valley

The social season may be over, but there are still plenty fun events going on in June! Check out our list of June events.

1. Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio

The concerts continue in the month of June. On June 9th funny man Chris Rock is back in the valley. It’s a Friday concert on June 9th. Showtime is 8pm.

2. Spotlight 29 Casino, Coachella

These shows are scheduled in the month of June. Ziggy Marley is in concert on Friday June 16th. On Saturday June 24th it’s a  celebration of the music of Selena. Show time for both concerts is 8pm.

3. Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage

The Show will be the place to enjoy the music of the Moody Blues on Saturday June 3rd. Showtime is 8pm.

4. The Palm Springs Firemen’s Association Annual Fish Fry, Palm Springs

This event is the longest running charity event in the Desert. Now in it’s 86th year this family. This fun, family event takes place at Ruth Hardy Park on June 3rd from 6-11 pm. Plenty of food and fun all for a great cause!

5. Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week, around the Coachella Valley

This event runs from June 2nd til June 11th. There will numerous restaurants offering special dining fun and events all over the Coachella Valley. Bring your friends and experience new tasting adventures.

6. The Palm Springs International Shortfest, Palm Springs

The Palm Springs International Shortfest happens June 20th-26th. Filmmakers from around the world bring their projects for fans of short films. This is a great event with films, seminars, and parties! The event is part of the Palm Springs International Film Society.

7. Villagefest, Palm Springs

This weekly event is a year round happening for the whole family. The fun starts at 6pm every Thursday evening. You’ll find arts and crafts, fruits and vegetables, live music and food. You are also permitted to bring your dog along.

8. College of the Desert Street Fair, Palm Desert

This weekly event happens every weekend all year long. It’s an open air shopping destination featuring merchandise from merchants, artists a farmer’s market, live entertainment, and gourmet food. Summer hours are 7am-12noon.

9. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Palm Desert and Indian Wells

The Living Desert has offered fun events all year long since 1970! There are special events that are always fun for the family. On June 21st, it’s World Giraffe Day. Be sure to bring your camera.

10. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Palm Springs

This adventure makes just about every list we do! Take the ride in the tram car to the top of the mountain. It’s always about 20 degrees cooler there too. Check out the scenic views, enjoy lunch and maybe even take a hike.
