A San Antonio couple’s four-month-old son developed a severe case of plagiocephaly, which is also known as flat-head syndrome, from laying on the same side of his skull while sleeping.
According to People, Gary and Shayna Gutierrez told their three-year-old daughter Camila that her little brother Jonas would have to wear a helmet to fix his head.
Camila didn’t want her little brother to feel different, so she suggested the whole family wear them.
Shayna shared a picture of the family wearing helmets, which prompted other families to share photos of their helmet-wearing babies.
Doctors say Jonas will have to wear his helmet for three to six months to correct the problem.
