Top 10 Mexican Restaurants In The Palm Springs Area

April 16, 2017

Making this list is not easy.  First of all, what is the best of anything is always a matter of much opinion, but what is the best of the best of Mexican Food here in this valley is nearly impossible.

There are hundreds of fantastic restaurants here in the Coachella Valley and that includes dozens of those specializing in Mexican food so the task at hand is daunting.  I did a little research… snooped around, asked people I know… and here is what we came up with.

This list is in no particular order:

1. Pueblo Viejo Grill, Palm Desert

Those asked said it’s the  fresh ingredients, and generous hospitality that make the perfect Pueblo Viejo Grill combination.  Live music, three locations, one in Indio, two in Palm Desert.

2. El Mirasol, Palm Springs

Apparently where the celebrities and everyone else go when they want authentic delicious Mexican food.  Known for their Margaritas.

3. Rio Azul Mexican Bar and Grill, Palm Springs
